My thoughts and prayers are with you Linda. Mike was such a good friend. He was Mr Montego Cove He was so very special. So much love to you and Chris
I’ll always be your older cousin. You will
be missed and will always be thought of with much love.
We hold onto and treasure our many memories of Mike. He has touched our lives in many ways. His calm demeanor and caring persona are just a few of his qualities. We are blessed and grateful to have had him in our lives for so many years. As our hearts break and our tears are shed we hold Linda and Chris in out thoughts and pray for comfort in the coming years.
Mike was a special person and I am very glad that he was a part of my life. So often he and I would share thoughts between sets of tennis at Miles Grant and I always came away with a good feeling about our conversation. All of the above accolades are well deserved. He will be so greatly missed by so many. Curt and I enjoyed many memorable social events with Mike and Linda, too. One in particular comes to mind: the March 2010 bus trip down to the SONY Ericsson Tennis Tournament in Key Biscayne. It poured rain the entire day and we never saw even one match. But wearing his plastic poncho and carrying his red umbrella, Mike was pleasant and smiled throughout that long, wet day. He was a real "trouper" !
Roger & I are sooo very sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved husband Mike..
Our sincere & deepest condolences to you . Mike was such a nice man. May God bring you comfort in your sorrow . May your husband rest in everlasting eternal peace with our Lord..
Whoever was fortunate to have Mike in their life for however long, was blessed. Mike’s kindness, humor, willingness to listen and share his thoughts with respect to everyone without judgement is so rare in these days yes, we are blessed.
Mike’s natural ability to make you happy just to be in his company...yes, we are blessed.
Mike was fortunate to have found his soulmate in Linda and together they raised a fantastic son, Chris.
This beautiful man can never be compared to another. He is and will always be a constant reminder of how we should all be.
May the memories last forever and with that in mind, they will assure us that Mike still lives in our hearts.
He looks so serious in this picture, which he was not. He will be missed.
Mike was and is one of the "good guys". I loved him and being around him was always fun. I will treasure all the laughs we had and the memories of him will be in my heart forever, He will be profoundly missed by all who loved him and called him a friend. Love and prayers to you Linda and to Chris. May our dear friend rest in peace and may we all look forward to the day when we will all be together again. God bless you Mike and thanks for the joy you brought to my life.
I always thought of Mike as the "go to guy" in Montego Cove. Need some help - call Mike. He will know what to do.
He was so calm an logical. He was a great person.
Linda, we all have you and Chris in our heart. God give you courage and faith to get through this dark time.
Mike will be sorely missed by so many. He was a ray of light with a smile for everyone, and with a hello and good word for us all. He and Linda were a perfect pair and it was a joy to know them both, even casually. Linda, may God grant you peace and trust in the knowledge that we are here for you.
Linda, words cannot express our sorrow. Bob especially loved chatting with Mike and confiding in him. We both will miss him and so will Montego Cove. Our prayers are with you and Chris. Deanna

Over the years I have played on many teams but I can honestly say playing Tennis on Mikes team was an exceptional privilege and a lot of fun. A team is only as good as the Captain and our team did excel . He will be missed
Hard to believe I played tennis against him at the Battle of the Sexes on March 13 at Miles Grant CC and I bet he beat me. It was always fun to have Mike on the court. It's hard to believe. I am so sorry for your loss and may your many memories give you peace and joy.
Mike and Linda were our very dear friends for over 40 years in Massapequa, New York. Although almost 20 years have past since then, we remember all the wonderful times we had together. Mike was always easy going, so often funny, very smart, a good conversationalist, a genuine person and a great friend to us. He didn't complain, he didn't brag or boast, he was very agreeable to what others wanted to do. We missed Mike and Linda when they moved to Florida, and now we will miss Mike forever. With Love and our Deepest Sympathy to Linda and Chris. Love, Gina and John
What a great tribute this site is for Mike! Will never forget how he organized tennis at Montego Cove and showed off his skills at every opportunity. Truly, a great guy on and off the court. Will continue to pray for all of you.
John and Annette
We remember when we met you and Mike. You sat in the seats in front of us on a flight to Budapest, where we would take a river cruise up the Danube. We enjoyed traveling with you so much that we planned another river cruise with you this Spring. Mike will be missed, but not forgotten. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
Linda, no words can express how much mike was loved in MC. He had a caring heart for the homeowners there. He will be sorely missed by all. May he Rest In Peace now with the lord. May god watch over you during these trying times.
Dearest Linda and Chris,
I never thought I would be writing this, but you must know how much Mike was loved by so many...
Mike was one of those rare persons you meet once in a life time... smart, witty, calm, funny, kind, considerate, great with numbers, and had a memory like no other... he remembered everything! It was my pleasure to work with him for 10 years. He was a great board member who put MC's interests before all others, and he was a great boss who appreciated the hard work of employees.
His departure is our huge loss, but heaven's gain. We are all very lucky that our lives have been touched by Mike, and that we have wonderful memories we shared together... Mike, you will be missed greatly dear friend..
My thoughts and prayers are with you Linda and Chris.
Frank always looked for Mike when we went to Bingo. He called the numbers and we always heard them well. He had a great sense of humor and everybody enjoyed his company. He will be missed, and always prayed for and loved ! Sincerely and with great love Connie and Frank Bilello
I cannot believe Mike has left us. I thought he would live forever....& play tennis forever. What a delightful partner, formidable opponent & entertainer on & off the court. Such a gentleman, exemplary husband, hard worker, proud father, generous soul. My thoughts & prayers are with Linda & Chris. We have lost a special soul here on earth, gained a guardian angel watching over us.....could you help me with my overheads please. Much love.
What a beautiful tribute to a wonderful man. You had such a great life together Linda and I hope those memories will keep you strong. It sounds like many people loved Mike and will be there for you. I hope you know I am here for you as well. My deepest sympathy to you and Chris.
I am saddened at the loss of our friend and neighbor. Mike was gregarious, authentic and in love with the Montego Cove community that he served for so many years. It is difficult to imagine life at Montego Cove without Mike. We enjoyed an occasional coffee at Starbucks. There, at such times, we happily spoke of travel and other cheerful things. He was proud of his son and devoted to Linda. Mike was fun to be with. His passing leaves us saddened but rich in happy memories of a man that served his community and was loved by many of his neighbors. Mike, will be missed but never forgotten. Peace to you.
We are so sorry for your loss and wish you peace and comfort. Mike was a real asset to the Montego Cove community and his loss will be felt for years. Jim & Sheryl Cheves
We are heartbroken for Mike's passing. We treasured his friendship, always including us in activities, parties and dinners. Playing tennis at Montego was a highlight. Our love to Linda and Chris, you are in our thoughts and prayers. May God bless.
Mike was unique! I see all of the 50 qualities his friends and family have listed above and totally agree. I especially admired his marriage to Linda. Every trip, every adventure, everyday I was around them was a pleasure with so much love and respect for each other. He will be missed and remembered. Linda
Our Dear Linda, your marriage had a quiet peace about it. We were so comfortable with the two of you because you were comfortable with one another. It is hard to understand how all of this fell on both of you. We know you will have the courage to carry on because Mike left you with a strong foundation. Crying as I write this. Love, Gail & Larry
We are so saddened to hear of Mike’s passing. He was always so full of life and enthusiastic, and his love for tennis was inspiring to everyone. I’m sure he is up there organizing a game somewhere. Our sincere sympathies are with you, Linda.
For well over 50 years, Mike and Linda have been part of our lives. From college to weddings, through children, work and retirement, our friendship has always remained strong. Mike's friendship and support never wavered and he will be forever in our hearts. Our love to Linda and Chris. Dear Mike - Rest In Peace.
Wither everlasting love,
Iris and Stan

Mike was a pleasure to be around even though he tortured Steve with his needling. He never hesitated to help with his positive manner. Problem solver Mike even helped Jean dispose of a gecko that had wandered into the condo and as the story was retold the gecko got bigger and bigger. We will miss him so much and think of him every day. Love, Steve and Jean

Just wanted to send my love to my Aunt Linda and my cousin Chris and any extended family.
Uncle Mike was probably the easiest person to talk to that I ever met in my life.
He could talk to you on your level no matter how young you were and it felt like you were just talking to a really good friend.
I’m going to miss him so much.
Rest in peace my Uncle Mike add godfather.
Linda - So sorry to hear of Mike's passing. You two made our trip to Ireland so much fun. Mike always had something interesting to say about politics. So easy to hang out with you two on the trip. Great picture you took of Hannah feeding the baby lambs. And thank you again for Hannah's hat to match her sweater. We won't forget either of you.
We love you and will miss you, Cousin Michael! We know you're at peace now, but it's still so hard to wrap our heads around.
Linda - We're thinking of you and hope to see you when things settle down.
Sara (and Howard and the kids)
Uncle Mike is a gentle and kind man who always gave special time to talk with family, and friends. A genuine caring interest for all ages. Aunt Linda and Chris, we will cherish the memories. Especially Family reunion in SC, and the overnight weekend visit w/my sister just a few weeks ago, spending quality time relaxing together. Tennis! His giggle stays close to our hearts. All of our Love, Frank and Liz, Kelly, Jordan, and Taylor. XO
We join with countless others in remembering Mike. One of our earliest recollections was when we first bought our condo at Montego Cove almost ten years ago, and we were the recipients of Mike's generous spirit. It was the first of many examples of Mike extending himself, so cheerfully, in an effort to assist others in our community. His service on Montego Cove's Board of Directors was yet one more way that he was engaged in the lives of others, and we were all the beneficiaries of his selfless service.
To say that Mike was a "gem of a gent" is such an understatement and we will sorely miss his broad smile and lovely spirit. God bless you and Chris as we all in our own way celebrate his beautiful life.
Dennis & Brian
Uncle Mike was always pleasant to be around as a child and an adult. Treated me as an equal, no matter my age. A great listener, honest and an open minded thinker. He and Aunt Linda have been a wonderful example of how to live life well, and especially how to enjoy retirement! I hope she will continue to enjoy her retirement as I know he would want. And will continue to visit us all as much as she can. Hoping I’ll be able to talk and laugh with him again.
Mike will be missed. He truly loved Montego Cove and proved it by his actions and interactions with the residents. He was the ACE of Montego Cove.
So many good times together with a wonderful neighbor and friend. We miss you very much and still can’t believe you are not upstairs…..but may you are…in the Real Upstairs!
I will always have fond memories of Mike, my brother-in-law..teasing me and loving his crazy wild sister-in-law unconditionally. I will always cherish how Linda & you treated Scott, my son, as if he was your 2nd son. Scott will miss him but has very great memories close to his heart. Linda, you have the many memories of all your trips to remember and I will always remember all the wonderful holidays we shared together. He is at peace now and probably be the “mayor” in heaven. Love, Carole & Jamie
